I have been a cosplayer since I was 15. My costumes are usually 90% made by me, with occasional closet cosplays thrown in. I am not a full time crafter/cosplayer, I work for a biomedical company and have a materials engineering degree. I live with my husband and our menagerie of animals. We are both fire spinners and avid festival goers, usually working with the medical team. You can even find us at )'(
When I am not crafting, I enjoy cooking and food storage, call me a prepper but I love my freeze dryer.
I am also a gamer, and Twitch affiliate, but find myself playing less publicly. You can still find me most Monday nights, playing Phasmo with friends, and I do typically stream and D&D game I am playing or running.
I first learned to sew in home economics class in Jr. High. From there I fell in love with almost any kind of crafting I can do with my hands.
Aside from cosplay, I do enjoy sewing my own clothes and have been known to design fabrics on occasion.
Not only do I sew, but I crochet, do prop work, resin casting, basic welding, basic electronic work, and I even have a 3D printer and CNC at my disposal.
I have won a handful of cosplay awards, but my stage fright usually gets the best of me.
